Digital Literacy- OLD VS NEW

Conceptualizing the ways we used to prepare School report earlier and now. Even watching music videos and understanding how to evaluate the quality, and validity of media. And now there are so many ways we share information wherein we also learn safety information as on creating strong version of passwords to various other stringent settings to protect privacy. We also respect the genuineness of the content and the image we create as Google clearly identifies the genuineness and if copy pasted. To be digitally literate, we must understand that what makes the web an amazing place is that for this vast virtual world to function properly, we must all be good digital citizens. While creating the image I thought of Social media like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Virtual Classroom, Pinterest, and even Youtube vs. old studies Classroom studies and piles of books from where we used to research and gain literacy. Earlier when there was no Internet, no Wifi, no hotspot, no facebook no whatsapp addiction and now our fingers every moment click on Facebook, whatsapp and other social media. Times have changed from listening songs from CDs to now Gaana, and Youtube since streaming is almost free and of course thanks to Digital Literacy.
